Annual Pancake Breakfasts
Saturday Mornings Throughout the Year

Come out and support the West Liberty Lions Club at their Annual Pancake Breakfast! Help us to raise funds to help our community!

Next Date: Saturday, April 1, 2023, 8-11AM at the West Liberty Fire House. Easter Bunny Pictures from 9-11AM.

Sunday, April 2, 2023, 3PM: 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Lions Club Park. Proudly Sponsored by Marie's Candies. Open to all kids 5th grade and younger. Children will be grouped by age.

Quarter Midget Races

Mac-O-Chee Quarter Midget Racing Association Racing Dates to take place April through October at West Liberty Lions Park. 

May & June
​Softball Tournaments

Lions Club Park hosts softball games on three separate diamonds throughout the spring and summer. The West Liberty Force, a girls travel fastpitch orgainzation that has been around for over a decade, hosts several tournaments each year as well as traveling out of state to play. There are teams competing in several age groups, with players from all over the west central Ohio area.

Four annual events hosted at Lions Club Park by the West Liberty Force include the Early Bird Tournament (typically the 1st week of May), the Mad River Classic (typically the 1st week of June), Father's Day/Pete Cook Memorial (typically Father's Day weekend) and the Fireworks Blowout (typically the last weekend in June). Lions Club Fish Fry's

The West Liberty Lion's Club hosts several Fish Fry fundraisers throughout the year at West Liberty Lions Club Park. The Fish Fry's are open to the public and all are encouraged to come out to the park, visit and enjoy all-you-can-eat fried fish!

There are no more remaining fish fry dates in 2022. See you in 2023!

Culpepper & Merriweather Great Combined Circus

Every other year in May, the West Liberty Lions Club welcomes the Culpepper & Merriweather Great Combined Circus to the Lions Club Park for a circus unlike any other.

Tickets are available for purchase at Town Hall, Stoner's Ice Cream Parlor & Liberty Gathering Place.

Culpepper & Merriweather circus brings an action-packed 90-minute show to over 200 towns in 17 different states! They specialize in affordable, family-friendly entertainment. Their show is truly enjoyable for children of all ages! Bring the toddlers, kids, teenagers AND grandparents!

West Liberty Fireworks

Usually held the last Saturday in June.
2023 Date: Saturday, June 24th

The West Liberty Force Softball team hosts a weekend tournament at Lions Club Park. The Lions Club typically hosts a pancake breakfast from 7am-11am and a fish fry from 5-7pm at the park, followed by FIREWORKS at dusk. 

The West Liberty Fourth of July firework show is 100% funded by local donations. To donate, visit The Peoples Savings and Loan Company in downtown West Liberty and ask to donate to an account set up on behalf of the Fourth of July fireworks show.  Several downtown businesses also collect in their shops for the fireworks.

West Liberty Lions Ham & Turkey Raffle
Nov. 20, 2023, 7:00-8:30pm

Hosted in the Town Hall Opera House on the 3rd Monday of November, the West Liberty Lions Club raffles off hams, turkey breasts and cash prizes. There are also door prizes for all who attend. Raffle tickets can be purchased ahead of time from a West Liberty Lions Club member or on site on Monday evening prior to the raffle. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. All proceeds stay right here to benefit the West Liberty community!

  • One winner for every game starting with round of 64.
  • Winner determined by the final score of each game.
  • Games pay between $10 and $250 depending on the round (Play-in games are not included)
